Shelly began twirling at the age of 8 and was a junior high majorette.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Malone University and an Associate of Arts from Kent State University.  She was formally employed by the Tuscarawas County YMCA as the Youth Program Director for 13 years.  While at the YMCA, she worked with children from ages 3 to teens.  Currently, she is a stay at home grandma and babysits 4 other children.
